Do you have what it takes to join the Camp Simcha/Camp Simcha Special staff? Every year we hire more than 300 responsible, caring, empathetic, enthusiastic upbeat young men and women, post high school and age 18 or older. Our staff works long hours, and truthfully, it’s not an easy job. But our counselors and staff are the first to proclaim that the Camp Simcha/Camp Simcha Special experience, unparalleled for children, is also incredibly rewarding, uplifting and meaningful for staff as well.
Camp staff is very varied, and includes counselors, specialists (i..e, waterfront, ceramics, candle making, arts and crafts, baking, crafts workshops), and wait staff. Specialists in photography, videography, and journalism are also needed. We also need office staff.
There are two Camp Simcha sessions and two Camp Simcha Special sessions. Staff must commit to remaining in camp throughout the session. Requests for days off must be approved by the camp director prior to the start of the session.
