About Camp Simcha Without Borders
Sponsored by The Ann & David Kupperman Foundation
Launched in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Camp Simcha Without Borders was developed to bring the magic of Simcha to children and communities across the country. Camp Simcha Without Borders operates day camps and hosts special events in cities across the United States and across the globe, providing children who are unable to travel the opportunity to enjoy Simcha in their own hometowns. The program is open to Chai Lifeline clients and their siblings.
The program’s top priority is the health and safety of campers and staff. Programming is designed in consultation with leading medical experts and conforms with all local state regulations.
In 2020, more than 1,200 children took part in the inaugural summer of Camp Simcha Without Borders. Camps, programs and special events took place in Baltimore, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, Lakewood, Monsey, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Philadelphia, Canada, England, and Israel.
