Directions to Camp Simcha

From the NY/Metro Area:

New York State Thruway to Exit 16 (Harriman), then Quickway 17 to Exit 121W – Rt 84 West, exit 1 to Port Jervis. Make a left turn at the stop sign and bear right at the first light. Follow Rt 6 through Port Jervis. Pick up Rt 97 North for approximately 8 1/2 miles. After scenic curvy road there’s a steep downgrade. At the bottom of the hill turn right on to County Rt 31 (Glen Spey). Proceed 3 miles and turn left at White Road (Camp Simcha’s sign). Proceed for 2 miles to Camp Simcha. Camp is on the right side.
PLEASE PARK ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROAD.

From the Catskills Area:

From Monticello take Route 42 South to the Flashing light in Forestberg. Turn right and continue about 10 miles. Pass the Glen Spey Post Office and continue straight for 2.5 miles to White Road, and make a left turn. (If you hit the Delaware River you missed the turn.) Proceed for 2 miles to Camp Simcha. Camp is on the left.
PLEASE PARK ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD.

Please Note: While Camp Simcha and Camp Simcha Special look and feel like every other camp, our campers are seriously ill. Our medical directors do not allow any visitors under the age of 14 into camp. No exceptions can be made to this policy.

Please arrange all visits in advance by calling the camp office (845)856-1432.
