Wow, what a night! First off, we had the Farewell Banquet, which was an awesome outdoor buffet, with a carving station, and tons of other delicious foods. After that, everyone gathered in the social hall for the camp video, put together by our amazing media team. when the video ended the whole camp went down to the lake for an enormous fireworks display!

Frontier Land
It’s a bittersweet day in Camp Simcha. We started off the day with an awesome Wild West style Shootout, which gave all of the campers the opportunity to shoot paintball at western-themed targets. after lunch, we started packing up to leave camp 🙁 . To make this day a bit sweeter, we’re about to get a visit from a soft-serve ice cream truck,! Stay tuned for news on tonight’s banquet!
8.4.17 A Bug’s Life
Today’s activities were on a slightly larger scale than bugs. We started the day with the Breakfast Of Champions, an awesome spread consisting of omelette stations, waffle stations, and much, much more. During breakfast, we heard the sound of motors outside, heralding the arrival of a helicopter that came to give all of the campers rides! The day only got more exciting after that, because we all went to the social hall after lunch for a concert from famed singer Ohad Moskowitz!

New York City here we comeeeeee. We’re heading down to the city I’ll try to keep you updated throughout the day as to what we’re doing.
Night Activity
Night Activity was amazing. We saw a beautiful display of jump rope acrobatics with participation of our very own campers. I’m off to a late night BBQ with our older division Pictures are below 
2.8.17 Deal Day-Toy Story
Deeal daaaay, So where do I even begin? Today was as action packed a day as any at Camp Simcha. Our Senior Division took an action packed trip to a shooting range this morning were upon they practiced various different shooting skills on different weapons. Upon returning to camp, we were in for our latest surprise….DEAL DAAAAY, every camper had a turn going into the Social Hall and getting their pick of free goodies.

Tisha B’Av-Space Mountain 8.1.17
So today was Tisha B’av, a very moving day. Last night we had a very moving bonfire, where we all felt the impact and gravitas of Tishav B’av. Today, in honor of Space Mountain, a Planetarium came to camp! Each division went to the gym and entered the inflatable dome, where they were given a guided tour of the Solar System! Later we went to the Social Hall, for Family Feud, with Steve Harv- I mean some random dude as a host. The excitement was palpable as we strained our minds for all possibly useful scraps of information. As the fast ended we were treated to a sumptuous Break-fast by our very own Camp Simcha kitchen.

Superhero Day
Today is superhero day in Camp Simcha! The Justice League and The Avengers were spotted putting on a DC vs Marvel battle of the ages. Meanwhile, Batman and Superman duked it out while Wonder Woman watched in the side. In other news, rumors of a trip to New York are starting to build…..stay tuned….

Apparently the combatants from Friday have taken the battle to the next level-I just spotted resumed hostilities with upgraded weaponry: Super Soakers!!!! details to follow as the situation room keeps us updated.
