What an incredible day. We started off the day at Victorian Gardens Amusement Park. After, we walked to Central Park for a delicious pizza lunch. The rain might of stopped us form the ferry rides, but it didn’t stop us from having an awesome time. We sang and cheered and showed the whole NYC the spirit Camp Simcha has. After, we drove to Garden State Plaza to spread smiles to everyone who was there. We gave people stickers that said smile and we spread joy throughout the whole mall. To end off the night, we had dinner and a concert by Mordecai Shapiro! It was not only an amazing day, but also an incredible opportunity for us to show the world what a magical place Camp Simcha truly is.

 

Tu’Bav day has been so much fun despite the rainy weather. We had a professional crotcheter come who made a stunning heart with the help of our campers that was put in front of the lake. By dinner the Glen Spay Town Hall came and presented Camp Simcha with an award. For night activity we had Fun n’ Fit come and have a dance party with us.

 

Today is the day we’ve all been dreaming of since we were little. It’s wedding day here in Camp Simcha Special. After weeks of planning, we finally get to celebrate today. The dining room is filled with hearts, flower girls, grooms and of course our brides. The older division had a trip to a shooting range and had an awesome time.

You can’t have Super Bowl Sunday without a tailgate dinner, so for dinner we had dinner in the field wth our favorite tailgate foods. For night activity, we played Lets Make a Deal. Campers won money, earphones, and so much more cool prizes. It was a great Superbowl Sunday!

Camp Simcha got to welcome a real super bowl player Jeff Schwartz. Campers got his autograph, and he played in our Camp Simcha Super Bowl game. During the game, we had a halftime show with hilarious commercials which featured all the campers. Superbowl Sunday is going great and everyone’s having an awesome time.

 

Touchdown in camp Simcha. Everybody was greeted by our  very own football players in the dining room at breakfast. The dining room was disguised as a football stadium and was filled with the noise of cheering fans. We are super excited to see what “Superbowl Sunday” has in store for us today.

 

What an incredible first Shabbat in Camp Simcha! There were multiple campers who got up in front of the whole camp and spoke about themselves, and inspired everyone. We all enjoyed yummy snacks from the canteen, and bingo where everyone won awesome prizes. After Shabbat we had Aviva playing on the piano, lots of dancing and of course, food.

All the campers had such a good time riding in the helicopters, it was an amazing experience. The campers enjoyed boating, swimming, metal making and all our other fun specialties. In honor of Shabbat, we had challah baking, and a spa where all the campers got makeovers. Shabbat shalom from Camp Simcha , and April fools!

 

HAHAHA. We cannot stop laughing with all the jokes and pranks going in Camp Simcha. If you couldn’t guess, it’s April Fools Day. Everyone is dressed in hilarious costumes like clowns, crazy hats,jokers and more. During breakfast there was a face paint station for all the campers to get their face painted, and Rivky announced that there will be helicopter rides today! We cant wait!

To end off a great “8 days” of channukah, we had a hilarious night activity. The Twins From France came and put on an amazing show. They juggled fire, walked on stilts, and performed many more fun tricks. It was another amazing day in Camp Simcha.
