Shalom from Israel! Everyone came to breakfast today dressed up as Israelis. Some campers were even dressed as camels! There was an Israeli falafel shop at the entrance and hava negila was playing as we walked into the dining room. After breakfast we danced to some Israeli songs, and then rushed off to our exciting activities!

Day 9: Major Trip
We had an amazing time on our major trip today! First stop was the Palisades Mall. We got to go shopping, do the ropes course, go bowling, and ride to carousel and ferris wheel. Some of our lucky campers visited the build-a-bear shop and got their own stuffed animals! We had a selfie challenge scavenger hunt where we had to go around finding different things and people and taking selfies with them. We had a great time! After that, we got to go on a cruise with Lipa! We got dinner on the boat and then danced away at the concert. We rode alongside Manhattan and saw the Statue of Liberty up close! Major Trip was a great day! Can’t wait for tomorrow!
Mexico Day Comes to an End
Seven of our campers celebrated their bat mitzvahs tonight! The dining room was decorated beautifully. Each girl wore a beautiful gown and a gorgeous smile. They sat at the head table and then rocked the place with their dancing. They received special gifts and donated a beautiful birchat hamazon to the camp. Afterwards, everyone headed off to our Mexican fiesta. We painted moroccos, and and got to make purses or Mexican ponchos. Then we made some tin art, and got a chance to hit the pinata. What a great day! Can’t wait for our grand trip tomorrow!
Mexico Day Continued
We had a Mexican band come to camp! We danced to the Macarena and other Mexican songs! Then we played musical squares. We stood on square posters and walked around as the Mexican band played. The squares were taken away and we had to see who could make it onto the last sqaure! After that, we had the Mexican hat dance! What a fun time we had! For dinner, we had delicious tacos and chile! Can’t wait for our Mexican festival tonight!

After many exciting activities, we came to lunch with big smiles on our faces. After eating lunch, everyone danced away on the dance floor to lots of Mexican songs and had a great time! We can’t wait for our Mexican fiesta later on today!
Day 8: Mexico
Today is Mexico Day! We walked into the dining room and we were greeted by colorful flags hanging from the ceiling, grass on the floor, sombreros, and smiley faces all around. What a great way to start off the day! After breakfast everyone rushed off to their exciting activities and see what today has in store for them!
France Day Comes to an End
After much prep, our models were ready for the runway. Our beautiful models walked or were wheeled down the runway wearing every color and pattern. Everyone looked stunning! It was amazing to sit in the audience and watch all our beautiful models. After dinner, we had a really fun time watching the Twins from France perform many tricks for us! The Meltas got to go night swimming while the rest of camp went to chill at canteen or go to sleep. What a great day! Can’t wait for tomorrow!

After our amazing concert, we had runway prep. Everyone is getting ready for our fabulous fashion show tonight. First, we got our hair and makeup done. Some campers chose to beautify their counselors as well! We got a chance to get our nails done as well and then moved on to getting fitted and choosing out an outfit. After completing the look with beautiful jewelry and accessories, we made campers made their way to get their photos taken. Everyone looks amazing! Can’t wait for the fashion show!
France Day Continued
Campers got to sign up to get private music lessons! We enjoyed a delicious lunch while French music played in the background. After that, we ran off for an amazing concert with Avraham Freid! We danced and sang along to all of his songs and had a great time! What else does this amazing day have in store for us? Can’t wait to see!
Day 7: France
Bonjour from France! Walking into breakfast this morning felt like walking along the streets of Paris. There was a boutique shop with staff dressed as French people standing in front handing out French pastries. We even had a miniature Eiffel Tower decorated with lights! Our Meltas and Rikkis got to go on a special trip to the shooting range! Can’t wait to see what the rest of the day will have in store for us!
