Only a few more hours until camper arrivals! The Camp Simcha Staff arrived yesterday for orientation and are now fully prepared and anxiously awaiting their camper arrivals. We can’t wait to make memories and loving friendships that last not only for this summer, but for the rest of our lives!

Our campers love getting e-mail! Please send all e-mails to mail@campsimcha.org and include your camper’s NAME and BUNK NUMBER in the subject line of the e-mail. Unfortunately, we cannot download any attachments so please include all content in the body of your e-mail.

Goodbye Simcha Special 365!
Wow, what an amazing way to end off our summer! We had a delicious banquet dinner with all of our favorite foods. After, we went to the social hall to watch the end of the summer video that our media team worked day and night on. To end off our night, we had an amazing dessert buffet down by the lake where we watched fire works. What an incredible summer it was in Camp Simcha Special 2018!
Graduates of Camp Simcha Special 2018
Today all the campers finished up at the workshops and pick up everything they made. During lunch we we had a Bat Mitzvah for Sarala and all out other campers who are turning 12. They had their own special table and a cake made in honor of their Bat Mitzvah. After lunch we had a ceremony for our graduating campers. Each camper spoke about their experiences in Camp Simcha, and there was also a video tribute to all the graduates. Everyone is packing up their bunks and getting ready to go home tomorrow morning.
Shavuos Surprises
The dining room is filled with beautiful flowers and everyone is dressed as flowers, dairy, cows and more. Can you guess what day it is? It’s Shavuot day! What started off as just an ordinary morning turned into a surprise concert by Eli Gerstner. Not only did we have a surprise concert, but the campers were surprised with motorcycles. The motorcyclists are in camp now for all the campers to ride their motorcycles!
Shabbat
What an incredible last Shabbat it was in Camp Simcha Special. Many campers spoke about their Camp Simcha Special experiences and inspired everyone. The campers put on a Shabbat play for the whole camp which was hilarious. Wishing everyone a great week!
Bargains Galore
Today is Black Friday in Camp Simcha Special. As everyone was sleeping, the head staff came to wake the older divisions up at 5 am for a surprise Walmart trip. Each camper got a $10 gift card to spend on whatever they would like. It was a great start to the day. The dining room is set up as a black Friday sale, and everyone is dressed in all black or something related to shopping. Hopefully we will find some good deals today!
Purim Carnival
In honor of Purim day we had a super fun Purim carnival. There was bungee jumping, face paint, blow up slides and so much more fun activities. Everyone who is in the Purim play has been practicing for hours to make the play amazing.
Mask on
Happy Purim from Camp Simcha Special! The dining room is covered in all different cool masks. Everyone is dressed in their favorite purim costumes. The day has just begun, but we are already off to a great start.
