Coby meets Justin

November 24, 2015Leave a Comment

Coby could not figure out why in the world he was going to a hair salon until he saw Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker.

Famous for his rocking hairdo and incredible kicking ability, Justin told Coby to kick #ChildhoodCancer like he kicks footballs.

India Day Comes to a Close

August 23, 2015Leave a Comment

We had banquet where we all sat at short tables on cushions with lamps and jewels as Indian music played. It really felt as if we were eating a meal in India! Afterwards, we thanked everyone for all their hard work and watched the camp video. Then we watched the slideshow and fireworks. Can’t believe the summer is over already! We had a great time! Can’t wait for next year!

India Day Carnival

We had a great time at the carnival today! We enjoyed cotton candy and popcorn as we ran around from booth to booth. There was a photo booth where we got to take pictures with our friends, a bouncy house, a dunk tank, water slide, bungee jumping and many more fun activities! Afterwards, the ice cream truck came and everyone got to enjoy cool ice cream on this hot day! Can’t believe the summer is almost over! We had such a great time every day!

Day 12: India Day

August 23, 2015Leave a Comment

Today is India Day! We felt as if we had walked into India this morning. There was material all over the floor, lanterns, and many other things. After enjoying a great breakfast, campers went off to finish up any projects they had been working on, and collect all their projects. We can’t wait to watch the amazing play soon!

Day 11: Shabbat

August 22, 2015Leave a Comment

Even though we are very sad that this is our last Shabbat in camp, we had an amazing time. After lunch today, we had a skit followed by a BINGO game that we got to win some amazing prizes! We listened to our amazing campers share their stories with us. Everyone sang and had a great time. After Shabbat we had dancing and refreshments. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow will bring!

After our talent show, everyone went to get ready for Shabbat. We were able to go bake challah or go to the spa and get our hair, makeup, and nails done. We enjoyed some delicious deli roll and kugel. Can’t wait for an amazing Shabbat!

Day 10: Israel Day

August 21, 2015Leave a Comment

Shalom from Israel! Everyone came to breakfast today dressed up as Israelis. Some campers were even dressed as camels! There was an Israeli falafel shop at the entrance and hava negila was playing as we walked into the dining room. After breakfast we danced to some Israeli songs, and then rushed off to our exciting activities!
