3, 2, 1, Blast Off!!! After packing in workshops in the morning, we brought in a portable Planetarium, which gave everyone a guided tour of the solar system! The fun didn’t stop there, because earlier tonight we had an amazing performance from a Magician!

Goodbye Camp Simcha, we’ll miss you!
Wow, what a night! First off, we had the Farewell Banquet, which was an awesome outdoor buffet, with a carving station, and tons of other delicious foods. After that, everyone gathered in the social hall for the camp video, put together by our amazing media team. when the video ended the whole camp went down to the lake for an enormous fireworks display!
Frontier Land
It’s a bittersweet day in Camp Simcha. We started off the day with an awesome Wild West style Shootout, which gave all of the campers the opportunity to shoot paintball at western-themed targets. after lunch, we started packing up to leave camp đ . To make this day a bit sweeter, we’re about to get a visit from a soft-serve ice cream truck,! Stay tuned for news on tonight’s banquet!
Tisha B’Av-Space Mountain 8.1.17
So today was Tisha B’av, a very moving day. Last night we had a very moving bonfire, where we all felt the impact and gravitas of Tishav B’av. Today, in honor of Space Mountain, a Planetarium came to camp! Each division went to the gym and entered the inflatable dome, where they were given a guided tour of the Solar System! Later we went to the Social Hall, for Family Feud, with Steve Harv- I mean some random dude as a host. The excitement was palpable as we strained our minds for all possibly useful scraps of information. As the fast ended we were treated to a sumptuous Break-fast by our very own Camp Simcha kitchen.

P.S. Rumors are swirling of a possible trip to NYC this coming Thursday, I’ll let you know more when I have further updates.

Peter Pan Day
So just a quick update: The theme of the day is Peter Pan. I’m going to swing around to some of our specialty workshops to take a look and see whats going on. A few shots from glassmaking and cooking are below. I hear that our older division is having an escape room today I’ll investigate and report to you later about that.
Harry Potter Day
It’s Harry Potter dayyyyyy. Today is the first real day of camp, we’re starting off with specialty workshops. Everyone is having a great time. Check out some photos of the day.
