Welcome to all of our campers!! After all the arrivals we had a fun game of Simon says with Steve Max. The night ended with Camp Simcha’s Magical electric parade. We can’t wait for tomorrow to have our first full day in Camp Simcha!!

Today our super staff welcomed our amazing campers to Camp Simchas’ Magic Kingdom 2017! We danced and sang to the beats of our awesome DJ Leah. Mickey, Minnie and the crew made a guest appearance making the energy amazing. Can’t wait to see what else is in store!!
Girl Staff Orientation
We are so excited for Camp Simcha Magic Kingdom. The girl’s staff arrived on Friday, and had many presentations to prepare us for the wonderful adventure we are about to embark on. Everyone is getting to know each other and we can’t wait to meet every single one of you. The Magic Kingdom awaits you!!!!
Football fun
Today we were visited by former NFL player, and 3 time pro bowl fullback, Tony Richardson. Before he walked on stage to take pictures and sign autographs, he was greeted with a Camp simcha arrival tunnel #SABABA16 style. When he walked on stage everybody started dancing and showing Tony a good time. I can’t wait to see what else camp has planned for tonight.
Deal Day
Today was deal day and our friends from New Jersey did not disappoint. First, every camper attended a spectacular carnival with all sorts of rides. Second, every camper got to stop at the deal day bazaar where they received everything from toys to clothing to bluetooth speakers. Lastly, Everyone got to see a beautiful fireworks display. Needless to say it was a spectacular day. #SABABA16
It’s a Bird!! It’s a Plane!!… It’s Camp Simcha!!
Today we went way up into the sky in a helicopter! We each got a turn to take a ride, and fly over the entire camp. It is crazy, you can see everything from up there. That was definitely one of the most amazing things of the summer so far! #SABABA16
some nice clean fun
This morning we were inspired by White Day to be super clean. This prompted us to go around camp picking up wrappers. People who picked up 50 wrappers were entered into Duvi Becker’s “wrapper raffle” for a chance to win unimaginable prizes. While the younger division was cleaning up camp one wrapper at a time, the older divisions went white water rafting and had an amazing time. I can’t wait to see what camp has planned for tonight. #SABABA16
Color Craze day 2: Blue day
It is blue day in camp, and that means that Camp Simcha has been transformed into an aquatic paradise. Also this morning, the Israeli division is leading a protest around camp in an attempt to have Hummus added to the breakfat menu. Hopping over to the Hummus Protest in the morning is a great way to get the juices flowing on what promises to be another amazing day. Can’t wait to continue having a #SABABA16.
The Court Jesters
The Court Jesters are here and everyone is having a blast.
The Court Jesters started off by showcasing their incredible basketball skills. Soon after, the jesters and the campers played a fantastic game where some of the campers even dunked.
At Halftime, the campers, counselors, and jesters had a dance party for the ages. It was a great night for #Sababa16 and I can’t wait to see what the camp has in store for tomorrow.
Orange Day Breakfast
Today is Orange Day at Camp Simcha and the basketball themed breakfast bash did not disappoint. #ColorCraze2016 has officially begun.
Such a great breakfast prompted us to bust out some moves on the dance floor #Sababa16 style. The incredible Camp Simcha Band had us all dancing, jumping, and sweating. You just can’t help but smile at the amazing energy that the campers and staff bring everywhere they go. So much fun so far and its not even time for lunch yet. I can’t wait to see what camp has planned for later today.
