Shalom from Israel! Everyone came to breakfast today dressed up as Israelis. Some campers were even dressed as camels! There was an Israeli falafel shop at the entrance and hava negila was playing as we walked into the dining room. After breakfast we danced to some Israeli songs, and then rushed off to our exciting activities!
Day Nine: Israel
Shalom from the holy land. Today is Israel day, and it’s awesome! We have a falafel stand, Egged bus drivers, soldiers, the Kotel, and even the Shuk. That’s right, the Shuk! There was a candle shop, a clothing, and more!
It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s a helicopter! Right after breakfast, a helicopter landed on camp’s helipad and all the campers got to ride it. Everyone got cool helicopter day t-shirts and frisbees. Camp looks tiny from all the way up high!
Shabbat Shalom,
Moshe
Day Three: Israel
Shalom from the holy land. Today is Israel day, and it’s awesome. We have a falafel stand, Egged bus drivers, soldiers and even the Kotel. That’s right, the Kotel. Israeli flags are flying everywhere and the Israeli’s showed us how to party!
