The End

August 24, 2014Leave a Comment

As the last day of camp it was only befitting that it be one of the most action packed days of the summer. We started off by greeting a whole group of motorcycle riders in the morning(all the campers got rides…duh). And promptly continued with a rave right after lunch(don’t ask me how you can have a rave in the middle of the afternoon but as we all know anything goes in simcha…). After the rave we had the final banquet (Which seemed suspiciously like a wedding including the music being played by the string quartet). I personally had so much pepper steak, and so much corned beef from the carving station that I nearly exploded (yes, the food was that good). After this we went to see the camp video upon which peoples emotions about leaving camp  started to show through(props to Moishy for making such a great/moving video). Everyone makes good friends in camp, and we all know how hard it is to say goodbye(no more need be said). of course in this age of social media goodbye many times is’t goodbye but still…

After the video we had a staff barbecue were Dembi(lDembi,,you’re great without you this place couldn’t function) thanked everyone for doing an AMAZING job…and than people went to bed (or did that all-nighter at the end of camp thing).

Guys(and girls)- I had a great time writing this blog this session and hope you enjoyed it as much as I did sooooo signing off for the last time

missing you
