We’re in Outer Space!

Good morning camp Simcha Special! Today our campers and counselors woke up with their heads in the sky because we were flown out to Outer space. In the middle of the night. Seriously, the whole dining room was swarming with aliens and astronauts. There were glow in the dark stars & moons. Some of us honestly thought we were up in the sky. And those who were not thoroughly convinced were treated to a helicopter ride! Yes, our campers got to go 1000 feet up in the sky to see our camp as a dot on the ground. Many campers were thrilled because this was their very first time on a helicopter. It was, in a word, “awesome.” While not up and out in the sky, campers enjoyed various workshops including pottery, candle making, mosaics, and baking. That’s the update so far today, and we only just finished lunch!
