Today was packed! We had super-expensive sports cars (Rolls Royce, Audi, etc.) come to camp, and the owners drove campers around camp! We also had a Frontier Land Shootout behind the parking lot, where campers got to make their own targets, and then shoot them with BB guns! The older campers, 14+, also got to shoot skeet with real guns! Not only that, we had combat archery in the gym, which saw bunks getting bows and foam tipped arrows, and shooting each other to see who can get more hits!
Super Hero Day
We had a super day so far! We let all of the campers choose their own workshops in an a la carte activity, besides for one division, which went on an amazing horseback riding trip! A bit later we had a show from the acting group Main Stages, acting out a hilarious whodunit mystery, with campers asking the suspects questions! The resolution of the mystery is going to be happening later this evening, so stay tuned!

Camp Simcha @ Yankee Stadium!
Splash Mountain
Whoa, what a day! Today is Splash Mountain, which means lots of water. We started with a bubble run, which saw everyone running through camp and playing in different colored bubble stations which had been set up throughout camp. The bubble run ended on the tennis court where a massive bubble pit was set up, and we had an awesome time dancing while covered in bubbles! We moved on from there to an all-out water fight, with each division having it’s own color water to shoot with! Meanwhile, our oldest division is off on an awesome trip to a Subway Series baseball game!
Alumni Day
Today is Alumni Day! Tons of former campers, staff members, and their families came to an amazing carnival, full of awesome booths, inflatable slides and obstacle courses, and much more! After that, everyone went to the front lawn for an awesome buffet-style dinner! Later on we had an unbelievable BMX show, rounding off another amazing day in Camp Simcha Special!
Sorry for the delay, but we hope to have the pictures up tonight, if possible, and if not we will for sure have them tomorrow. Thanks for your patience!
Peter Pan
It’s been an awesome day so far! We had a visit from retired Mets player Nelson Figueroa, who signed baseballs for all of the campers, and then gave a pitching clinic so campers can pitch like the Majors! Stay tuned for the rest of today’s exciting activities!
Harry Potter
What a magical day! We started the day with an amazing Triwizard Tournament, a contest between two divisions wherein they compete to gather enough water to put out campfire, allowing them to begin finding clues to free their division heads, who are locked up. their division heads then lead them to their divisions dragon who gives them clues to help them find the Quidditch Pitch, where everyone takes turns shooting the Quaffle into hoops! Later in the day, we had a concert from the world famous Avraham Fried!!!
Space Mountain
3, 2, 1, Blast Off!!! After packing in workshops in the morning, we brought in a portable Planetarium, which gave everyone a guided tour of the solar system! The fun didn’t stop there, because earlier tonight we had an amazing performance from a Magician!
Disney Parade
Wow, What a day! After arrivals, everyone had division activities, which were a blast; and then tonight we had an amazing Disney parade, with actual Disney characters on floats, and light-up toys for all of the campers!
Arrivals!!!
We’re super pumped for all of the campers to arrive! A bunch of campers have already arrived, and were greeted by costumed staff members, dancing and singing around them. We can’t wait for everyone else to arrive!
